Nicholas GomezAn LLB Honours graduate in Law with Spanish Law from the University of Wales Aberystwyth and La Universidad de Salamanca, Nicholas completed his Bar Professional Training Course at the University of the West of England where he achieved a Very Competent. He is a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple and was called to the Bar of England and Wales and Gibraltar in 2011.
During his Bar Professional Training Course Nicholas was chosen to represent both the Inner Temple and the University of the West of England in three different moots.

  • The Lord Slynn of Hadley Moot – Nicholas was chosen to represent the Inner Temple in an Environmental Law, Judicial Review moot in University College London where he finished as a finalist;
  • Inner Temple Regional Moot – Nicholas was chosen to represent the Inner Temple in a Contract Law moot held in the University of the West of England where he finished as winner;
  • Inter provider Criminal Law Moot – Nicholas was chosen by the University of the West of England to represent them in an Inter Provider moot in BPP (London) where he helped the university get to the Semi Finals of the competition.

Nicholas joined Charles A. Gomez & Co in June 2011 and has since then been working under the guidance of the Head of Chambers in several judicial review matters, intellectual property, trusts, leases, landlord and tenant disputes, pre and post nuptials, professional negligence and employment disputes.

Universidad de Salamanca - 3rd Year Licenciatura

  • Core modules including: Advanced Arbitration and Clinical Negligence

Steven LinaresSteven who is currently a Member of Parliament joined our Chambers in April. He was a Primary School Teacher from 1988 to 2000. Steven was the president of the Gibraltar Teachers Association which represented all teachers in Gibraltar from 1993 to 1996.

Recently Steven embarked on doing an LLB (Hon) and a BVC and was called to the bar in UK in November 2009 and in Gibraltar in April 2010.
